New F-15 Profile Designed by Richard Carlton. Full Stabilators. Rudder is cut and hinged, but not hooked up fro the first test flights. The rudder is definitely need for low speed high alpha conditions. Power is Scorpion 3014-18 with a 8x6 prop and a 4S-2100 pack. Better than a one to one trust to weight ratio, and I can get more out of the motor if necessary. Way more. Total weight is 36 oz without rudder servo. The Stabilators us HS-125s. Todd would be one to insist that "less is more". I think I agree. Uploaded by Paul Schwafel on 12/23/2007 |

Errol made his "official" maiden flight of his E-Flite Pitts. Both Errol and the plane are well-coordinated. Uploaded by Paul Schwafel on 12/09/2007 |
Here is the auto-gyro in it's completed state.First flight was semi-sucessful. Flew for about 3 minutes, then screwed up and crashed. Orientation is difficult with this thing and in turns it looses altitude in a flash. It is repaired, but cosmetically is damaged....pretty cool while it was flying....over Uploaded by bottom gun on 12/03/2007 |
One more photo pass for Carlos and "Marie". I want to thank Carlos for his extremely kind words and generousity to me. You are a class act, my man. You lifted my spirits when they needed to be lifted. Uploaded by Paul Schwafel on 12/03/2007 |
A maiden flight, no less, and Carlos is already beating up the field. The nose spinner was a vibrator on the ground test, so it went away for the test flight. Uploaded by Paul Schwafel on 12/03/2007 |
